With the number of web3 jobs being posted, chances are you're looking at one where you meet 3 out of the 4 requirements. It happens! So.. what should you do? Should you still apply? Well, here are five ways you can still land a web3 interview without meeting all of the requirements:
1/ Complete a few relevant web3 bounties and add them to your resume πΈ Bounties are great for gaining quick experience. Even if you don't 'win' the bounty, you can and should still put that experience on your resume.
2/ Try to get an intro to the company π While the web3 ecosystem is massive, it's still sometimes small (WAGMI, right?)! Try to find a common connection between a Twitter fren & the company to see if they can make an intro (even if it's not directly to the hiring manager).
3/ Highlight your transferable skills π A TON of skills are transferable from web2 to web3. Read through the job description to see if there are any skills you should highlight in your CV or DM. Richie from Metaintro talks about that here.
4/ Read between the JD πΌ You don't have meet every qualification listed in a job description - so don't let that hold you back from applying. Figure out what the HARD requirements are before quickly writing off the opportunity.
5/ Meet the company at a web3 event π₯ Twitter Spaces with AMAs, Discord Stages, and hackathons are great ways to meet the company you want to work with.
GL with the job search!
