With crypto conference szn among us, it may just be time to start sharpening up your networking skills. Here are five things that you can do when networking IRL:
1/ Get a QR code for people to scan. π₯Hot tipπ₯: link your QR code back to a LinkTree, your resume, or your website.
2/ Wear a funny t-shirt about crypto. Who knows - it could help you cold-start a conversation.
3/ Go to the side events. There's always something fun happening - just search CT for the unofficial side events excel sheet.
4/ Go into the event with a clear call to action. Follow up with a personalized message after meeting someone (whether that be on Discord, Telegram, or email). Include links to your LinkedIn and Twitter profiles to keep the relationship going.
5/ Be active on CT. Chances are that other people are looking to network at the conference using Twitter hashtags and @'s as a way to find other likeminded people.
6/ Don't Overthink: Introducing yourself and building relationships is simpler than you might think. Have some questions prepared depending on the context, such as "What do you do in the space?" and "How's it going so far at the conference?"

What's Up, Web3?
#239. Lifelong Entrepreneur and Founder of Metaintro on Innovating in Web3
Listen to this episode from Peers2Peers on Spotify. For Lacey Kaelani, a 9-5 work day was never the dream. And even when it was a reality, her parents were in her ear, giving her business ideas and telling her it was time to follow the dream of entrepreneurship that had permeated throughout her entire life. But for Lacey, the hardest choice wasn't committing to a less traditional career, it was the transition from whiteboard to product, a process she laments is one of the most difficult parts of going out on your own.In this episode of Peers2Peers, powered by Shopify, Web3 pioneer Lacey joins the podcast to discuss taking your internal monologue seriously, the logistics of selling one start-up and securing millions in funding for another, and the difficulties of hiring in the Web3 space.Discover more:Start your Shopify 14-day free trial: https://bit.ly/3fuq58CCheck out Metaintro: https://www.metaintro.com/Twitter: https://x.com/metaintroConnect with Lacey: https://www.linkedin.com/in/laceykaelani/Follow The Peers Project on Instagram: http://bit.ly/3adVmYG Hosted on Acast.
