Role Overview
As a Developer Advocate at Celestia Labs, you'll be the go-to person for developers who want to learn and use our technology. You'll write easy-to-understand guides, create helpful videos, and answer questions from developers. You'll also organize events and workshops to bring the community together. Your job is to make it as simple as possible for developers to build amazing things with Celestia. According to job description, your role and responsibilities are listed below.
Responsibilities
- Technical Writing: Maintain and write documentation for Celestia and Rollkit.
- Tutorial Management: Create and update tutorials focused on sovereign and EVM applications.
- Modular Academy: Build and maintain educational courses for the Modular Academy.
- Community Support: Assist developers in debugging issues on platforms like Discord, Telegram, and GitHub.
- Content Creation: Develop video content on integrations, application development, and developer tools.
- Programs: Support and create programs such as hackathons, workshops, and capture the flag (CTF) challenges.
- Developer Tooling: Build and document new tools to enhance the developer experience.

Who You Are
- Proficient in JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Next.js, Node.js, and Solidity.
- Experience with Golang or Rust is preferred.
- Familiarity with Celestia software (celestia-node or celestia-app) and the Cosmos-SDK.
- Passionate about web3 and modular blockchain technology.
- Strong technical writing and communication skills.
- Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment.
